Description - A complete diet for small psittacine and passerine birds. This diet is specially formulated for non-breeding birds (young birds after first molt and up to breeding age, and for those kept in non-breeding situations).  Extruded form makes the particle more digestable, providing for a lower bacteria count and eliminating the need for grit.  Extruded particles are 5/64" round.

Small Bird Maintenance is formulated for balanced nutrition and can be used as the only source of nutrients.  If supplementation with fruits and vegetables is desired they should not exceed 20% (by weight) of the total diet.
