Description - A complete diet for large psittacine birds specially formulated for non-breeding birds (young birds after first molt up to breeding age and for those kept in non-breeding situations).  Extruded form which makes the particle more digestible, providing for a lower bacteria count while eliminating the need for grit.  Extruded particles are 1/4" diameter x 1/4" long.

Parrot Maintenance is formulated for balanced nutrition and can be used as the only source of nutrients.  If supplementation with fruits and vegetables is desired they should not exceed 20% (by weight) of the total diet.
